Algonquin College students Naina Kansal and Parth Shah began the business in when they realized just how much of an ecological impact they were making from the many takeout boxes, coffee cups and plastic containers they were going through while eating the typical student diet. They began to ponder ways that they could contribute to sustainability and producing less garbage. Out of this, Go Ecoway was born. It started as a spark of an idea, and has since evolved into a line of products ranging from kitchen utensils to event swag, all created to produce minimal environmental impact.
They were faced with a challenge, how to better mitigate the amount of waste, packaging, and ecological impact they were having with simply furnishing their home. They wanted an alternative choice from your typical big box retailers, a more environmentally-conscious means of living without having to disrupt their lifestyle and burn their pockets.
It started with a question, “How do we live a more sustainable life?” To change the world, we must first change ourselves and change starts at home. “Go Ecoway” has evolved into a line of products ranging from home decor, lifestyle amenities, and kitchen utensils created to produce minimal environmental impact.
