How To Switch Faces On Facetune

Mar 14, 2019 Facetune was the most downloaded paid app on iOS devices last year. Photo by rawpixel on Unsplash. Besides, everyone’s doing it. But that may just be the issue. Sure, covering a few blemishes. Months after Facetune’s release, the word “selfie” was added to the Oxford Dictionary, foreshadowing the app’s almost immediate success. Within a year, Facetune was the top-ranked photo and video app in the App Store across 120 countries, and by 2016, Lightricks had launched Facetune2, a more advanced version that was also an instant hit. A 2016 study on the effect of social media photos on teenage girls found that exposure to manipulated photos directly led to lower body image and other negative thoughts. Though many detected the use of filters and effects, body reshaping went vastly unnoticed, and most said the images seemed realistic. Simply put, we can’t tell what’s real. Mar 07, 2016 Facetune is an app offered on the Apple App Store for $4 that allows users to 'touch up,' but students have recently taken this app to a whole other extreme. Some refer to Facetune as 'the skinny app,' others use it to smooth over their blemishes or whiten their teeth. Don't think we don't notice, we know what you look like in person.

Face Change apps – In the past few weeks you may have noticed that sharing photos with modifications to the face has increased considerably on social media. Much of this is due to the success of FaceApp, a controversial application that includes a gender change filter.

However, it is not the only alternative for you to have fun with your photos or those of your friends. In the Play Store there are dozens of apps with similar functions, but many users are unaware of its features. In this selection, we have listed some of the most interesting alternatives for you to have fun with this feature.

5 Best Face Change apps for you to change your photos

1. FaceApp

Success in the past with an aging function in the photos, FaceApp went through controversial moments in 2019 when it was accused of using user data for unknown purposes. Despite the complaints, nothing has been proven, but the app changed its privacy policy and arrived in 2020 with a new feature.

From now on, it is possible to modify the gender in the photos: a male face can become female, and vice versa. In addition, there are other tools in the app, such as the traditional aging feature or the filter that makes anyone look like a child.
